App not loading or showing a blank screen
This is almost always a browser cache issue. Force-reload the app — it clears the cached files and pulls the latest version.
Mac: ⌘ + Shift + R
Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
iPad: Close tab → reopen

Child is locked out — forgot PIN
The default PIN is 0000. If that doesn't work, you can reset it from Provider Settings. Hold the 🔊 speaker button in the app for 3 seconds to open the PIN entry screen.

Symbols not showing images (just emoji)
The app loads symbol images from the Mulberry Symbols library, which requires an internet connection on first load. If images aren't showing, check the device's wifi. Once connected, the images will load and cache automatically.

No audio / app not speaking
Make sure the device volume is turned up and not muted. In kiosk mode on an iPad, the physical mute switch overrides software volume. Also check that the child's profile doesn't have sound muted in Provider Settings.

Communication log not updating here
The dashboard pulls from Supabase in real time. If events aren't showing up, try signing out and back in below. If the issue persists, the child's profile may not have your email set under Teacher / School Access.

App isn't installed on the classroom iPad
Speak can be installed as a PWA (web app) on any iPad — no App Store needed. Open the app in Safari, tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen."
